“The Best Kept Secret – the Most Popular Event in Town”
“Swing into Spring” – is a mini fundraiser supporting the Scholarship Fund of the WMC and the WMC McLellan Competition. Each year in May or June, members and friends are invited to a luncheon – to share a glass of wine, great food, and to enjoy musical entertainment – all held in a stately, elegant home in Winnipeg.
On June 6th 2019 – our event was held at Moss House – an historic Georgian Revival Mansion built in 1901. Attendance was by invitation. Lunch was served with sandwiches, wraps, and desserts paired with perrier or white wine! Jessica Kos-Whicher – soprano (2018 WMC McLellan finalist) with collaborative pianist Lisa Rumpel performed throughout the afternoon and wowed a VERY appreciative audience!
This year’s Swing into Spring will support the WMC McLellan Competition in 2020!
This cultural fundraiser seems to grow in popularity each year, since its inception in 2001. We invite friends to support our WMC Scholarship Fund and the WMC McLellan Competition by saving the date to come for lunch, wine and music in a charming home in Winnipeg.
If you would like to receive an invitation to this event in 2020 – please call us at 204-944-9431 and leave a message and we will get back to you or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
